ABOUT US

On First July, 1964, the village named as Ghatladki, situated on the border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, where there was no means of education due to selfless spirit, late Bhayyasaheb Deshmukh, former MLA, built Shivrao Vidyalaya.

Late Marotirao Deshmukh's son, Shivrao died in 1951 on the day of Hanuman Jayanti. Then in 1962, on the initiative of Shivrao's son-in-law Shri Gopalrao Deshmukh, his sisters Mrs. Bahinabai Deshmukh Shirkhed, late. Mrs. Shashikalabai Deshmukh Varud Bagaji and late Mrs. Dwarka Bai Deshmukh, Talvel donated their allotted 22 acres of land to the organization (BEST), in the memory of their brother.

The school is working for the purpose of providing all-round development tools to the students by providing educational, cultural, social, physical, emotional and moral education.

The institute is working under the inspiration and guidance of the present president Hon'ble Rajabhau Deshmukh to uplift the quality of the students and create a "visionary personality" in the people.

In the academic session 2014-2015, this school celebrated "Golden Festival" on a grand scale by achieving spectacular achievements in the educational, cultural and social fields.

Plantation of 200 multi-purpose trees in Devi Nagar area

On August 16, 2024, in the month of Shravan, 200 trees were planted on behalf of Shivrao Vidyalaya Ghatladki, Eco Club and the responsibility for its complete conservation and protection was determined. Tree planting was organized on this occasion to create awareness about conservation and protection of nature, in which Mr. Babarao himself, president of Shivrao Vidyalaya Ghatladki, Talvel, managed Shivrao Vidyalaya. Shri Rajabhaudada Deshmukh was present. Only if the trees are carefully preserved and monitored, the trees will survive. If the trees survive, nature's food chain will be regular and life of all animals will be happy. That is why he advised the students to always remember the abhang of Tukoba and guided the audience " The employment workers who conserve and protect trees were felicitated. Social Forestry and Employment Servants got help in this work. The program was attended by Sivanandji Madane Sarpanch Ghatladki, School Committee Member Mr. Shri.Vinayakrao Deshmukh, Mr. Ashokaraoji Deshmukh, President School Committee Dwarkabai Tivsekar Vidyalaya Sonori, Hon. Mr. Nareshbhau Kaple, Hon.Shri.Sanjairao Nimbhorkar President, Ambamata Sansthan Ghatladki, Hon.Shri. Devidasrao Satav, Journalist Hon. Sri Manojbhau Barskar Sant Tulsa Mata Bhajan Mandali members, as well as majority of the villagers, were present.
