A benevolent Institution, leading in Educational and Social fields. This institution stands tall, towering with pride, shining bright on the children who take shelter in its wings.

                      Babarao Education Society Talvel (BEST) was established in 1953 by Late Mr. N.S. Deshmukh Alias Bhayyasaheb Dada Deshmukh (Talvelkar).The main Objective of this institution was to facilitate education for the poor and the downtrodden.Bhayyasaheb did a significant and  magnificiantwork of spreading education in the rural areas. The inauguration of the Institute and Shankar Vidyalaya , Marathi medium School was held in presence of the Great First Agriculture Minister of India , Shikshan Maharshi Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh.
                    A large number of Students including children from neighboring villages were drawn to the institute as a result of which  number of Students kept increasing every passing year and  another move took place.Late Mr. Bhayyasaheb Dada Deshmukh took up the  decision tobuild a new building and expand the campus. The inauguration ceremony of the new building of Shankar Vidyalaya was done under the auspices of Mr. Yashwantrao Chavan, the first Chief Minister of United Maharashtra in the year 1960.

Students coming to Shankar Vidyalaya came from the surrounding villages and far of places faced a number of hardships especially during monsoons.In order to facilitate education in these clustering villages near Talvel, Adarsh Vidyalaya was established at JavlaShahapur in the year 1970.

                    Ghatladki is a village at the foot of Satpuda mountain. Prominent dignitaries of this village requested Late Shri Bhaiyasaheb Dada Deshmukh  to open a school at Ghatladki. A school named Shivrao Vidyalaya was opened at Ghatladki in 1964.

                    Similar conditions were observed atSonori village near Ghatladki, due to lack of infrastructure  facilities and poor road conditions, there was a gradual drop of students attending the school.The villagers requested Late Shri Bhaiyasaheb Dada Deshmukh  to open a school at Sonori. Late Smt. DwarkabaiWankhade (Tivsekar) donated four acres of farmland to the school. In 1972,Dada came up with the school The school named as Smt. DwarkabaiTivsekarVidyalaya Sonori.
                  In 1982 Shri Sant Gulabrao Maharaj Public Library was established at Talvel to impart knowledge to the people of the village along with education. In order to have a school in a place like Amravati, Dada also established a school called Matoshri Krishnabai Deshmukh Vidyalaya. The Shesh Smriti Krida Mandal was set up in a small village of Talvel with the objective of giving opportunity to the rural children to play and develop them physically and mentally. Many national and international level players have emerged from the Kho Kho sport in this sports circle.
               Today marks the 67th anniversary of the creation of the organization. This organization is reputed to be the best organization in the field of education, social and sports in Amravati district.
