The project is being implemented at Shivrao Vidyalaya under the initiative Mrs. Bharti Tai Jaju (Director of a service organization established in the United States by a resident Indian citizen and an alumnus of the school) for the overall development of the underprivileged by selecting students from the economically weaker sections. For this, a permanent grant of Rs. 10,000 USD has been given to the school by the concerned service organization.

Undergraduate students of class 5 are guided by upper class students. They are called mentors. Mentors in Marathi means counselor. Shivrao Vidyalaya has an up-to-date library. In which 3500 books of various types, various magazines, periodicals, Diwali issues are made available to the students.
